Attend Richmond Fine Arts Festival and Wine Walk this Weekend
Two of McHenry County residents’ favorite festivals are just around the corner, and lovers of art and wine are going to be excited! Ring in summer by attending the third annual Spring Wine Walk, being held in conjunction with the Fine Arts Festival in downtown Richmond this Saturday, June 28.
Tickets for the Spring Wine Walk are $35 each, and attendees can enjoy sipping and strolling through 10 participating businesses in the downtown area.  There will be three varieties of wine at each station, in addition to delicious snacks for sampling. Participants won’t go home empty handed either, and will receive a souvenir wine glass from the event, as well as a complementary bottle of wine of their choice!
In addition to the Wine Walk, Richmond will be bustling with visitors and tourists in town for the Fine Arts Festival, located at the intersection of Route 12 and Broadway. More than 90 local artists will be showcasing their best work from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Saturday and Sunday. Admission to the event is free, but there will also be artwork available for purchase. Twenty percent of the proceeds from the Fine Arts Festival will go to benefit the Richmond Memorial Hall Renovation.
These festivals are just two of the fun McHenry County events coming up this summer! For more information about things to do near Richmond, be sure to keep up with the Gerstad Builders blog.
