Every year the Northwest Herald hosts a public contest for the residents of McHenry County to vote for their favorite businesses. As a result, ‘The Best of the Fox’ designation is awarded to the winners in each category.

For the last two years Gerstad Builders has been honored as Best New Home Builders in McHenry County. Additionally, the last five years, Gerstad Builders has been selected as “One of the Best” home builders in McHenry County.

We are fortunate to have such wonderful customers who acknowledge us as their Best New Home Builder. Above all, we are very thankful for their continued support.

The goal of The Best of the Fox is to give residents of McHenry County the opportunity to tell people what businesses give the best products and/or customer service within their community.  This helps to increase the local economy and it brings people out to these specific areas. More importantly, helps small businesses receive the acknowledgement they deserve.

Voting is open June 29 thru July 21, 2020. First, everyone is able to vote once per day. Second, residents can vote everyday the contest is running for any and all of their local companies. That time is NOW and we want your help!
