Wonder Lake Water Ski Show Team Hosts Haunted Hayride in McHenry

This October, Petersen Park is undergoing a drastic transformation into McHenry’s scariest forest! Back by popular demand, the Wonder Lake Water Ski Show Team is once again hosting its Haunted Hayride in the park near the new homes at Gerstad Builders’ Liberty Trails community, beginning this Saturday, October 11.

Each year, the thrilling adventure draws in crowds by the thousands, serving as a major annual fundraiser for the award-winning show team and several other local charities. Just last month, the Wonder Lake team earned the title of world champion for the second time ever at the world tournament against Australia, China, Belgium, Canada and China. Fortunately for daring Halloween lovers around Chicagoland, these talented performers are excellent at producing thrills off the water, too! They’ll be dressed up to play the roles of Henry Deadwood and his terrifying gang of friends, spooking riders as they make their way through the creepy “forest.”

The Haunted Hayride will be held this Saturday, Oct. 11 from 7 p.m. to 10:30 p.m., Oct. 17-18 and Oct. 24-25. Tickets are $8 per person. Be sure to like the Wonder Lake Water Ski Show Team Facebook page for more information.

As a proud sponsor and active supporter of the Wonder Lake Water Ski Show Team, Gerstad Builders invites McHenry residents of its new homes in Liberty Trails to get in the Halloween spirit at this spook-tacular event!
