Once again, Illinois largest street festival, On the Waterfront, will take place in Rockford over Labor Day weekend. The four-day festival will begin Thursday, Sept. 1 and run through Sunday, Sept. 4. Jason Derulo will headline Saturday, Sept. 3 with Stone Temple Pilots to close out the festival Sunday. Thursday, the Rock Allegiance Tour featuring Buckcherry, Papa Roach, Puddle of Mud, Crossfire, Red and Drive A will perform. Once again as Labor Day approaches, one of the best music festivals in the state of Illinois, On the Waterfront will open in Rockford. This year the festival, which runs over Labor Day weekend, will have Dierks Bentley as a headliner on Thursday September 2nd at 7:00 PM. Adam Lambert will take center stage on Saturday September 4th at 5:00PM.  Also on stage will be Gregg Rollie founding member of Journey and Santana September 5th at 9:00 PM.
