Floral Extravaganza Near McHenry New Homes Now that Halloween is over and it’s finally acceptable to pull out the holiday decorations for decking the halls of your McHenry new homes, you may be looking for a few extra adornments to throw in the mix. The McHenry Garden Club is hosting its annual Holiday Floral Extravagana on Dec. 1 at 7 p.m. with floral arrangements perfect for Christmas, and all the winter months. Professionals from local nurseries and florists will be on stage to assemble many different styles and types of designs. What a great idea to add that extra something to your home decorations, or it could make a perfect gift. Giving a gift that you've made really makes that present more special. Audience ticket stubs will be drawn for the chance to win the lovely floral creations and take them home at the end of the program. There will also be discount coupons good at the featured florists, gift basket drawings and much more. This event will be held at the McHenry High School, West Campus, 4724 W. Crystal Lake Road in McHenry. Tickets are $8 through Nov. 28 and $10 at the door.
